Kyoko Okazaki Exhibition

Kyoko Okazaki is a manga artist who made huge impact in 1980s-90s.
Her manga books are not suit for small children, but for late teens or grown-ups.

She drew poetic and realistic and painful stories with cute and sexy characters, it’s not as like ordinary happy-ending lovely girls’ manga books.
She was forced to stopped her career since 1996, a sudden traffic accident.

Still now, so many people loves her work. We can see her almost of all works in this exhibition.

I got washi tapes of Okazaki’s sexy girls from “I wanna be your dog”.

I met James Gunn 2

The 27th Tokyo International Film Festival ‘TIFF’ which ran from Oct 23 to 31. TIFF screened 175 official selections from 42 countries and regions, with 32 world premieres and three international premieres.

This time, my sister was with me to meet him.

My sister got his autograph not only for a brochure but also for the tee that Peter Quill was wearing the day he was abducted from the earth. (You can see Bereet appears wearing the same tee later)
My sister is going to frame up the tee to the wall.
Well, Mr James Gunn was amazingly nice and friendly person. I’m sure that he is one of the nicest human beings on the planet, and I’m looking forward to seeing his new films.

This was a first time for him to come to Tokyo, and I was so excited about his visiting because I’m a BIG fan of him.

I was very lucky to have a couple of chances to meet him, and could give him a gift ‘special chocolates’.

We were so happy that we could get cool tees from our favorite movie. We love the film so much. I saw it 10 times now and I’m sure the record will be improved.
