UNAGI PIE CAFE Tokyo

Unagi Pie (means “eel pie”) is very famous souvenir sweets in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka since 1961.
The crispy sweet pie contains eel extracts and garlic powder. I know it would sounds gross, but it is surprisingly delicious.
Now this Unagi Pie build a limited-time (3/28 – 5/6) pop-up store near from Laforet Harajuku. You’ll find super big (more than 4m) faux Unagi Pie easily.

They are selling various Unagi Pie for souvenir on 1st floor, and serving light meal and sweets related to Unagi Pie or Shizuoka prefecture on 2nd floor.

I love Original Glazed by Krispy Kreme, I always choose that simple (and super sweet) flavor.

But on this time, I found the box of “minis” contains a cute small smiley doughnut.
The colorful doughnut set makes me smile on work day’s morning.

I found Bikkuriman chocolate peanut snack package turned into Hatsune Miku and other vocaloids.

As same as Bikkuriman, it contains a small sticker in the package with a crispy snack.
This package is spring limited edition for Family-Mart convenience chain stores.

I got cutest angel Miku and Kagamine Len stickers.

I’ve found a very cute tiramisu jar.
The original shop of ‘the tiramisu hero’ is located in Singapore; however, there is a Japanese branch shop in Chiba prefecture.
I chose the original flavour tiramisu which was very good. I really love the rich whipped mascarpone cheese.

Yokai Watch Caramel Corn

I got a sweet corn snack Caramel Corn, the snack was collaborated with Nintendo game / TV anime Yokai Watch.

I chose a package of the charactor named “Robo-Nyan”. The main and most popular character Giba-Nyan is also on back of the package.
“Caramel” is only the official name in this time, the flavor is condensed milk. It is named “Zeppin Gyunyu” means like “awesome milk”.
That milk is the important item in Yokai Watch game/anime.
