My sister and I stayed at hotel, Kai from Hoshino resort in Ito.
It is easy of access from Ito station, and we were very impressed by the beautiful Japanese style garden.
We got a welcome sweet and iced Matcha green tea. We were happy to have them because it was very hot and humid outside.

My sister and I went on an overnight trip to Ito-shi at Shizuoka pref.
Ito-shi is one of the major hot-spring areas in Japan.
Before we took a train for Ito, we bought lunch at Tokyo station
where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. We chose sandwiches, a
hotdog and tenmusu (small rice balls with shrimp tempura).
We were busy to have the lunch because it took about 1 hour and a half to
until arrival of Ito. We had very fun time and good lunch.

When My sister and I went to Atami which was a small town on the east coast of Japan’s Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, we took a seasonal express train Marine express odoriko.
They services are scheduled to be introduced, running between Tokyo and Izukyu-Shimoda using E259 series 6-car EMUs normally used on Narita Express services.
We enjoyed the ride, and bento for lunch.

My sister and I went to Atami Plum (Ume) Garden which was a garden with Japanese Plums located in Atami.
It was little chilly but we enjoyed looking at flowers.
The plums of this garden bloom from beginning of January to March.
During the Plum (Ume) season, there are events and food stands are held and open in the garden.

My sister and I met a lovely cat at a hotel, ‘Kai’ in Atami. She looked like checking who was staying at the hotel.
She was very friendly and she could be one of the reasons to come back here.
